LICINI-VS P F AVG, laureate head right / VICTORIA CON-S-TANTINI AVG, Victory walking left, holding wreath in right hand, palm in left, captive seated at feet before; PR. RIC VI 285c (this coin cited); Depeyrot 17/11; Alföldi 586; Cayon 38 (this coin). VF, pleasing surfaces, just honest wear. Very rare issue, 4 cited by Depeyrot, including this specimen.

Ex Franz Trau Collection (Adolph Hess, 22 May 1935), lot 3778.

This is from the last gold issue series before the death of Maximinus II (who, along with Constantine I, all issued this reverse type).
