SYRIA, Coele-Syria. Damascus. Volusian. 251-253 AD. Æ 24mm (11.07 g). Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / CEBA/CMI/A in three lines within wreath, banner on wreath inscribed IEPA. Rosenberger 57; SNG München -; BMC -; SNG Copenhagen -. Nice VF, dark brown patina with some earthen highlights. Strike a bit uneven resulting in the shoulder being weak, but the portrait itself is well struck and overall an attractive coin.
