SELEUKID KINGS of SYRIA. Antiochos II Theos. 261-246 BC. AR Tetradrachm (30mm - 16.74 g). Lysimachia mint. Diademed head of Antiochos I right / Apollo seated left on omphalos, holding bow in right hand; lions's head right above bow, monogram to outer right. SC 481 (same dies as plate coin); Le Rider, "L'Atelier séleucide de Lysimachie," QT XVII (1988), pg. 195, - (D1/-, unlisted reverse die); SNG Spaer -; WSM -. VF, some light roughness above head, slightly off center. Rare issue.
