Artaxiad Kingdom. Tigranes II ''the Great''. 95-56 B.C. Æ hemichalkon (13 mm, 2.51 g, 12 h). Artaxata, ca. 70-55 B.C. Diademed and draped bust of Tigranes II right, wearing tiara decorated with star between two eagles / [ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ Β]ΑΣΙΛΕΩΝ Τ]ΙΓΡΑ[ΝΟΥ], cornucopiae to left. Cf. CAA 104; cf. AC 93-4. Green patina, minor roughness. Very fine.
