SASANIAN KINGS. (Ardashir) I. AD 223/4-240. Æ billion (14.95gm, 26mm) Tetradrachm Mint C ("Ctesiphon"). Phase 2c, circa AD 226/7-228/30. Bust right, wearing diadem and Parthian-style tiara / Fire altar flames with diadems. Good Very Fine, black-green patina. Rare.
