A large Chimu orangeware bottle from Peru, c. 1100 – 1450 AD. This superbly detailed vessel is 10-1/2” high and is decorated with a marine motif consisting of two birds and two fish, surrounded by water elements. A pair of shell adornos flank the spout. Ex Caravallo collection. Value range: $450 - $600
