Description
An excellent Moche III avian bottle from Peru, c. 200 – 450 AD. This finely molded vessel is 7-1/4” high and features a nicely detailed parrot perched atop the chamber, which is decorated with two pairs on confronted Ibis. In perfect condition, with heavy mineral encrustation. Ex Pachenko collection. Value range: $500 - $700
