Description
A lot of 3 Egyptian scarabs. The first is a steatite scarab from the New Kingdom, c. 1570 - 1075 BC, with an ‘Ankh’ symbol next to a feather of Ma’at, a solar disk above. Some chipping. 12 x 9mm. The second is from the Late Middle Kingdom - 2nd Intermediate, c. 1759 - 1570 BC, steatite, with standing pharaoh before a red crown, some weathering. 22 x 15mm. The last is a Late Period alabaster naturalistic scarab, 25 x 22mm. Ex Los Angeles private collection. Value Range $150 - $200.
