Lot 298: ANTIQUITIES. A Lot of 3 Mousterian Neanderthal Stone Tools and an Upper Paleolithic Blade

A lot of 4 stone tools. The first three are Mousterian Neanderthal Stone Tools, Europe, Late Mousterian (MTA) - Mousterian in Acheulian Tradition, c. 90,000 - 40,000 BC, and include a hand axe (3” x 2 5/8” - 7.6 x 6.7cm) and two smaller knives or scrapers. L: 1 ¾” (4.6 cm) & 2 ½” (6.4 cm). The fourth piece is an Upper Paleolithic curved blade, Europe, c. 19,000 - 9,000 BC, with nice orange-brown color. L: 1 7/8” (4.8 cm). The smaller Mousterian point repaired, all the others intact and form a nice group!Ex Orange County private collection. Value Range $300 - $350.
