Cilicia, Tarsos. 164-27 B.C. Æ (26 mm, 16.30 g, 12 h). Ortygothera and Maximos, son of Nikolaos, magistrates. Tyche seated right on throne, holding grain ears and poppy head, river-god Kydnos swimming at feet; behind, magistrate's name: OΡTY/ΓOΘH/ΡA / [TAΡΣEΩN], Zeus seated left on throne, holding Nike and scepter; in left field, magistrate's name: ΜΑΞΙ ΝΙΚΟ/ΛΑ. SNG Levante 983. Green patina. Cleaning scratches. Very fine.
