Seleukid Kingdom. Diodotos Tryphon. 142-138 B.C. Æ (17 mm, 3.95 g, 1 h). Antioch on the Orontes. Diademed head of Tryphon right / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΤΡΥΦΩΝΟΣ ΑΥΤΟΚΡΑΤΟΡΟΣ, Macedonian helmet left, adorned with ibex horn; in inner left field, two pilei. SC 2034.2d; HGC 9, 1061. Attractive sandy-green-brown patina. Good very fine.
