Seleukid Kingdom. Diodotos Tryphon. 142-138 B.C. Æ (17 mm, 4.48 g, 1 h). Antioch on the Orontes. Diademed head of Tryphon right / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΤΡΥΦΩΝΟΣ ΑΥΤΟΚΡΑΤΟΡΟΣ, spiked Macedonian helmet left, adorned with horn of wild goat; to inner left, star. SC 2034.2e; HGC 9, 1061. Attractive brown patina with earthen highlights. Good very fine.
