Seleukid Kingdom. Antiochos VIII Epiphanes. Sole reign, 121/0-97/6 B.C. AR tetradrachm (27 mm, 16.12 g, 12 h). Damascus, 118/7 B.C. Diademed head of Antiochos VIII right / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟΥ ΕΠΙ-ΦΑΝΟΥΣ, Zeus Ouranios, nude, standing facing, head left, holding star and scepter; crescent above head; in outer left field, two monograms. SC 2322.5; HGC 9, 1196e. Light toning. Slight porosity on obverse field. Very fine.
