VESPASIAN. 69-79 AD. Æ Sestertius (31mm - 23.22 g). Rome mint. Struck 76 AD. IMP CAES VESPASIAN AVG [P M TR P P P COS VII], laureate head right / SC in exergue, Hexastyle temple of Jupiter Capitolinus, statues of Minerva, Jupiter and Juno within; two statues standing on the outside, pediment decorated with Jupiter seated between two figures, eagles at the corners of the temple. RIC II 886; BMCRE 721; BN 751. Near VF, brown patina, surfaces a little rough. Rare.
