Hadrian. A.D. 117-138. Æ sestertius (33 mm, 26.33 g, 6 h). Rome, ca. A.D. 124-128. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS, laureate bust of Hadrian right, slight drapery on far shoulder / COS III, S C in exergue, Roma seated left on cuirass, right foot on helmet, holding Victory and cornucopiae; shield behind. RIC 636; BMC 1297. Brown surfaces with some porosity. Well centered and a pleasing portrait. Good very fine / very fine.
