Hadrian. A.D. 117-138. AR denarius (17 mm, 3.30 g, 7 h). Rome, ca. A.D. 134-138. HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P, laureate head of Hadrian right / VOTA PV-BLICA, emperor, veiled and togate, standing facing, head left, sacrificing out of patera over tripod. RIC 90; BMC 780; RSC 1484a. Wonderful medium to dark gray collection toning with subtle golden hues around the devices. Sharp strike and perfect centering. Choice extremely fine.
