Gordian III. A.D. 238-244. Æ sestertius (30 mm, 20.29 g, 2 h). Rome, A.D. 240. IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gordian III right / FELICITAS AVG, S C across field, Felicitas standing facing, head left, holding long caduceus and cornucopiae. RIC 310a. Dark brown patina, slight doubling on chin. Good very fine.
