D N IVSTI-NVS P P AVG, helmeted and cuirassed bust of Justin I facing slightly right, holding spear over shoulder and shield decorated with soldier on schematized horseman right / VICTORI-A AVGGG, Victory standing facing, head left, holding staff terminating in inverted staurogram; to left, star; Γ//CONOB. DOC 1b; MIBE 2; SB 55. Unusual shield decoration. Well centered and struck, and quite lustrous. Choice extremely fine.
