Description
Sicily, Entella. Ca. 345/38-320/15 B.C. AR tetradrachm (27 mm, 16.81 g, 9 h). Head of Arethusa right, wreathed with grain ears, wearing triple-pendant earring and pearl necklace; swimming around, four dolphins / Horse prancing left; palm tree in background. Jenkins 132 (O44/R119); SNG Lloyd 1615 (same dies); SNG Lockett 1038 (same dies); BMFA 492 (same dies). Some roughness and a few light cleaning marks. Toned. Extremely fine.
