Sicily, Syracuse. Agathokles. 317-289 B.C. AV decadrachm (15 mm, 4.27 g, 4 h). Ca. 317-311 B.C. Laureate head of Apollo left; grain ear behind (barely visible) / ΣYP-A-KOΣIΩN, charioteer, holding kentron and reins, driving galloping biga right; below, counterclockwise triskeles. Bérend, pl. 9, 1; BAR issue 1; SNG ANS 552. Fine style. Very light rub on chin. Extremely fine.
