Baktrian Kingdom. Eukratides I. Ca. 171-145 B.C. AR tetradrachm (33 mm, 17.00 g, 12 h). Diademed and draped bust of Eukratides I right, wearing helmet adorned with bull's horn and ear / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΜΕΓΑΛΟΥ above, ΕΥΚΡΑΤΙΔΟΥ in exergue, the Dioskouroi on horseback right, holding palms and spears; in lower right field, monogram. Bopearachchi 6E; SNG ANS 465. Well centered, lustrous and fresh dies. A touch of porosity on obverse. Superb extremely fine.
