Lucania, Velia. Ca. 334-300 B.C. AR nomos (22 mm, 7.52 g, 9 h). Kleudoros group. Head of Athena left, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with griffin; behind neckguard, KE monogram / YEΛHTΩ[N], lion prowling left; below, KE monogram. Williams 301 (O166/R231); SNG Dreer 304 (same dies); HN Italy 1290. Mount removed, some roughness on reverse. Fine.
