Sicily, Syracuse. Deinomenid Tyranny. 485-466 B.C. AR tetradrachm (23 mm, 15.64 g, 1 h). Under Hieron I, 475-470 B.C. Charioteer, holding kentron and reins, driving slow quadriga right; above, Nike flying right, crowning horses / ΣVRAKO-ΣIO-N (very faint), diademed head of Arethusa right, surrounded by four dolphins.
