Macedonian Kingdom. Alexander III 'the Great'. 336-323 B.C. AR drachm (19 mm, 4.44 g, 12 h). Kolophon, under Antigonos I Monopthalmos, ca. 310-301 B.C. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin headdress / ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟ[Υ], Zeus seated left, holding eagle and scepter; in left field, KA monogram; below throne, crescent. Price 1825. Toned. Very fine.
