Thracian Kingdom. Lysimachos. As King, 306-281 B.C. AR tetradrachm (30 mm, 16.61 g, 9 h). Amphipolis. Diademed head of deified Alexander the Great right, with horn of Ammon / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ, Athena seated left, holding Nike, resting elbow on shield set behind her, spear over far shoulder; in inner left field, monogram; in outer right field, monogram. Thompson 199; Müller 548. Toned. Nearly very fine.
