Description
Troas, Sigeion. Ca. 355-334 B.C. Æ (18 mm, 6.52 g, 12 h). Head of Athena facing slightly right, wearing triple-crested Attic helmet / ΣΙΓΕ, owl standing right, head facing; behind, crescent. SNG Munich 308-10; SNG Copenhagen 495. Brown patina, active corrosion starting to develop along top of crest on obverse (should be treated). Very fine.
