A pleasing Apulian Gnathian-Ware Prochus, Magnia Graecia, c. 350 - 325 BC, decorated with elaborate bands including ovolo, chevrons, dots and a wreath centered by a rosette, molded female masks at the join of the handle to the spout. H: 7” (17.8 cm). Intact and a very nice vessel for pouring oils.Ex Orange County private collection. Value range $750 - $850.
