SASANIAN KINGS, Yazdgard II, AD. 438-457. Æ unit (1.62 gm; 13 mm). No mint. Bust right on floral ornament, wearing mural crown with korymbos, monogram before / fire altar right on shaft; flanked by two attendants. Gobl SN I/1. Well struck on a nice compact flan. Original green-reddish and earthen patina. Choice Good VF.
