ROMAN EMPIRE. Diva Faustina Senior. Died AD 140/1. AR Denarius (3.40 gm; 18 mm). Rome mint. Veiled and draped bust right / Aeternitas standing left, holding globe and scepter. RIC IV 350a (Pius); RSC 34a. Shallow scratch on the obverse field. Choice aEF. Beautifully toned. Impressive, rare veiled portrait type of the empress.
