Description
Israelite Currency Bronze Weight, Middle Bronze Age to early Iron Age. (7.12 g, 28 mm). Ibex Head weight used before coinage was established as currency in the Levant. It could have originated in either Phoenicia, Canaan, or Israel, as all three traded with each other. Very detailed, perfect condition with a nice desert black patina. Found in Judaean Hills. EF.
