US/Canada/France, Quebec Attacked. Æ medal (41 mm, 12 h). Dies by J. Mauger, Later restrike, after 1880. Head of Louis XIV right; J. MAVGER F below / Quebec seated left on rock, wearing mural crown, left arm resting on shield decorated with the arms of France, banners around, trees behind, a river-god is behind the rocks, and a beaver crawls down the rock to the left. Betts 69. Nice extremely fine.
