Roman. Carnelian intaglio depicting Apollo. 1st-3rd centuries A.D. Engraved figure of Apollo standing right, quiver at his shoulder and a fold of drapery over his arm, holding a branch. Dimensions: 12 x 16 x 2 mm. A few tiny opaque occlusions. Intact and unblemished.
