Description
Ravel, Oscar E. The Collection of Tarentine Coins formed by M. P. Vlasto. Chicago: Obol International, 1977 reprint. xi, 196 pp., map, 53 ppl. Red leatherette, gilt lettering. Binding seams cracked and spine ends frayed, as is typical with OI reprints (the Vlasto reprints for some reason are especially susceptible to the spines drying and cracking). Fine.
A comprehensive and very important collection, especially since the coins often appear on the market today (not infrequently with their provenance unrecognized). Originals are extremely difficult and costly to acquire; this one and only reprint is now hard-to-find as well.
