TI CLAVD CAES AVG, bare head of Claudius left / COM ASI across field, distyle temple set on four-tiered base containing cult statue of Augustus standing facing, holding inverted spear, being crowned with wreath by female holding cornucopiae; ROM ET AVG across entablature. RIC 120; RPC 2221; BMC 228; BN 305; RSC 3. Wonderful portrait and attractively toned. Very fine.
