SICILY. Syracuse. Agathokles. 317-289 BC. AR Tetradrachm (26mm - 16.99 g). Struck circa 305-295 BC. Wreathed head of Kore right, wearing single-pendant earring and necklace / Nike standing right and erecting trophy; triskeles to left. Ierardi 204 (O57/R136); SNG ANS 679; SNG Tubingen 676 (same obverse die). Nice VF, attractive purplish toning, choice flan.
