THRACE. Byzantion. Circa 387-339 BC. AR Tetradrachm (22mm - 14.97 g). Heifer standing left on dolphin; monogram above and under raised leg / Granular quadripartite incuse square. Schönert-Geiss 688 (this coin illustrated); SNG BM Black Sea 4 var. (monogram). EF, attractively toned, some peripheral weakness, small flan flaw on reverse. Housed in an NGC holder, graded XF, 4/4.
