LUCANIA. Herakleia. Circa 390-340 BC. AR Nomos (21mm - 7.88 g). Head of Athena right, wearing Corinthian helmet decorated with Skylla holding rudder over shoulder / Herakles standing facing, upper torso turned right, wrestling with the Nemean lion; shell, club and bow to left. Van Keuren 48; Work 30; SNG ANS 60 (same dies); HN Italy 1376. VF, old cabinet toning, strike soft in the centers, obverse slightly double struck, flan flaw on cheek.
