Description
A fine Roman spear or ballista point, c. 2nd – 5th century AD. This heavy iron example is 4-3/4” long, has a socketed shaft and a cut-out head. This type was purportedly used to create flaming projectiles. Ex Clearwater collection. Value range: $125 - $200
