A pair of large Egyptian faience amulets of the god Bes, Ptolemaic Period, c. 332 - 30 BC, the first a classic yellow and blue Ptolemaic type, H: 42mm, and the second nicely detailed and completely in the round, wearing a tall, plumed headdress. Each with horizontal suspension hole through head of headdress. H: 43mm. The second with minor chipping to feet. Ex Los Angeles private collection. Value Range $400 - $500.
