Description
A pair of Egyptian faience ushabtis, 3rd Intermediate Period, Dynasty 21, c. 1075 - 945 BC, each mummiform, wearing tripartite headdress, arms crossed over chest, one hands holding implements which are detailed in black. H: 3 ½” (8.9 cm) & 3 5/8” (9.2 cm). Both intact. One rather crudely molded but retaining its blue color, the other now a brownish-white, both with traces of black detail, deposits throughout. Ex Los Angeles private collection. Value Range $150 - $250.
