Lot 240: ANTIQUITIES. A lot of 27 Mixed Stone Points, Mousterian to Neolithic

A group of 27 stone tools, Mousterian - Neolithic. 4 of the pieces are from the Late Mousterian of Western Europe, c. 50,000 - 30,000 years old, 20 are small quartz points from North Africa, c. 5000 - 3000 BC, and the last are 3 obsidian points, one with an old collection note labeling it from Greece and another from Mexico. Sizes from 5/8” to 2” (1.6 to 5.2 cm). A good study group as many have labels written on them in ink. Largest measures 2 5/8” (9.5 cm) in length. Ex Orange County private collection. Value Range $300 - $350.
