A Roman bronze duck head ladle, c. 1st - 2nd Century AD, of classic form, the handle flat and long, narrowing into the head of a swan, the bowl quite deep. Intact and thickly patinated with earthen deposits. L: 11 ½” (29.2 cm). Ex Los Angeles private collection. Value Range $500 - $600.
