Sasanian Kingdom. Shapur I. A.D. 240-272. AR drachm (24 mm, 4.40 g, 3 h). Mint I ("Ctesiphon"). Crowned bust of Shapur I right / Fire altar with two attendants. Göbl type I/1. Lightly toned, minor porosity, slight striking weakness on reverse. Good very fine.
