Sasanian Kingdom. Varhran V. A.D. 420-438. AR drachm (27 mm, 4.14 g, 3 h). AS (Isfahan). Bust of Varhran V right, wearing mural crown with korymbos set on a crescent / Fire altar with ribbons; flanked by two attendants; bust of Varhran on altar facing right. SNS type Ib1/2, 8; Göbl type I/2. Lightly toned. Nearly extremely fine.
