Description
Syria, Seleucis and Pieria. Antiochia ad Orontem. Vespasian. A.D. 69-79. AR tetradrachm (24 mm, 14.98 g, 1 h). New Holy Year 2 (A.D. 69/70). Laureate head of Vespasian right / Eagle standing left on club, wings spread, holding wreath in beak; in left field, palm branch. McAlee 357; Prieur 135; RPC 1971. Lightly toned. Very fine.
