Judaea, Hasmonean Kingdom. Judah Aristobulus I. 104-103 B.C.E. Æ prutah (14 mm, 2.33 g, 1 h). Jerusalem. 'Yehudah the High Priest and the Council of the Jews' (Hebrew, in block-style characters) within wreath / Double cornucopiae adorned with ribbons, pomegranate between horns. TJC grp. U; Hendin 1143. Scarce. Dark brown patina, light sandy deposits. Obverse a little off center, clear inscriptions. Very fine.
