Vespasian. A.D. 69-79. Æ as (27 mm, 11.04 g, 6 h). Rome, A.D. 71. IMP CAES VESPASIAN AVG COS III, laureate head of Vespasian right / AEQVITAS AVGVSTI, S C across field, Aequitas standing facing, head left, holding scales and scepter. RIC 287; BMC 600; BN 576-7. Hard green patina, minor smoothing in fields. Very fine.
