Julia Mamaea. Augusta, A.D. 222-235. AR denarius (20 mm, 3.10 g, 12 h). Rome, under Severus Alexander, A.D. 222. IVLIA MAMAEA AVG, draped bust of Julia Mamaea right / IVNO CONSERVATRIX, Juno standing facing, head left, holding patera and scepter; to left, peacock standing left. RIC 343; BMC 43-5; RSC 35. Sharply struck on a nice flan. Extremely fine.
