Description
KINGS of PERSIS. Vadfradad (Autophradates) I (3rd century BC). AR Obol (0.59 gm; 11 mm). Head right, with moustache, wearing diadem and kyrbasia / Fire temple of Ahura-Mazda; to left, Vadfradad standing right; standard to inner right. Sunrise 572var.(but Obol) Not in Sunrise. Well struck in high relief. Couple of tiny holes in the field (result of hammer blow). Nicely centered. Choice EF. Lightly toned. Extremely Rare.
