Roman Empire Tiberius, as Caesar (Augustus, 27 BC - AD 14), As, Lugdunum circa AD 12-14 Obv.: TI CAESAR AVGVSTI F IMPERAT V Bare head of Tiberius to right. Rev. ROM ET AVG Front elevation of the Altar of Lugdunum, decorated with the corona civica between laurels and stylized figures; altar flanked by columns surmounted by statues of Victory standing vis-à-vis, each holding a palm frond over left shoulder and wreath in right hand. RIC 245. 10.02 g. 26 mm. Good very fine condition. Brown-tan patina.
